I am an energetic, hyperactive adrenaline junkie who sees challenges / issues as opportunities and thrives on improving processes, environments and the general quality of life. Always discovering, always growing, my values are most important to me. My broad knowledge about IT and Business gives me the ability to communicate on both levels and convey meaningful requirements and narrow the (ever present) gap between the two.
My passion is to empower people and therefore training and change management lie close to my heart. My Mission is to positively impact WHAT and HOW people create, as I believe that what we design / create, designs / creates us back (Ontological Design). It is about enabling others to serve themselves better, expand their possibilities, increase their capacity to learn, act more effectively and better design their future.
Facilitating the Evolution of Human Capabilities is our focus, and this is how we can help you:
With all things Information Technology, the proverbial proof is in the usage. This cannot be achieved without equipping users with the correct type of enablement to achieve their goals and that of the organisation. We measure literacy before, during and after and adjust our training plans to best suit the uniqueness of each organisation, thus fostering a personal one on one relationship with all users throughout the engagement. Training includes SharePoint (End User / Power User), Microsoft Office, Office 365, Digital Literacy & Soft Skills.
There are over 83 000 books on business change on Amazon, yet most studies still show a 60-70% failure rate for organizational change in companies. Our intensive focus or core business change methodologies provides stakeholders with proactive metrics to ensure that users are put first in the change process.
User experience patterns and practices form the basis for strategic governance. Through our comprehensive stakeholder engagement framework, we are able to extract the strategic imperatives of the organisation and turn blue sky into tacit productivity enrichment solutions.
Effective adoption is derived from two things; Training and Business Change. Both are intrinsic to the overall usability of the implemented solution. By building quantifiable metrics upfront, we are able to measure the granular stages of adoption from product awareness, interest, evaluation, trialling and finally adoption. Interweaving the training and business change phases to create a strategy for innovation and growth provides organisations with the tangibility required for adoption success.
Most organisations have to cater for “Business As Usual” all while trying to implement the thought leadership concepts and solutions deemed necessary by top level management. With rapid prototyping, organisations are able to build and test through iterative consulting which translates into less user down time and more user uptake, as we empower the users with being part of the decision and not a bystander, being excluded from the process. This empowerment tactic drastically assists with the overall adoption, with users becoming “Ambassadors of Change” in the organisation.
“Our mission is to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. Technology can shape growth, help us to be more agile. We can use technology to change, disrupt the landscape of the industries we participate in. Building technology so that others can build technology and makes things happen. Our success is not dependant on our products, it's dependant on the success that our customers, our partners have with our products. It's really not about our ambitions, but it’s the application of our ambitions so that we can deliver digital transformation. I want you to envision, what difference can you make to shape the world.” Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella
WOW! Now THAT inspires me. Everything I do revolves around empowering people. Which in turns empowers me. I could not have written a better Mission Statement, thank you Microsoft for being a company who's Mission I endorse and live by.
As an absolute lover of all things Microsoft, I undertook the challenge, of writing a blog every single day, for 365 days. Crazy, I know. So I wrote the epic tale of “Around the Office in 365 Days”. My ode to Microsoft Office 365. #Office365Challenge. And yes, I actually completed it on the 28th of February 2017.View detail
After recently training a user Office 365 on a Mac, I realised how little I knew about the macOS and that I couldn’t help students who used Office 365 on Mac. When we’re not comfortable on the environments we work on already, we will not adopt any new technology. This blog is dedicated to helping people on the macOS with Tips and Tricks as well as assisting them to adopt Office 365 on their favourite OS.View detail
The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, 42 week blog challenge. Documenting my journey into understanding the mysterious world of UI / UX and CX. I’ve always had a lot to say about UI / UX, but have been delaying actually learning more. I also turned 42 in February of 2017 - so I had no choice but to start this challenge.View detail

“Tracy is one of the most talented SharePoint adoption people in this country. She understands that it is about empowering people to use the technology to its fullest and making it fun at the same time. I have watched her holding the most corporate of executives and disinterested front-line employees in the palm of her hands as she weaves her magic and has them laughing while they delightedly explore SharePoint's potential.”
“I have had the pleasure of having Tracy in my team for the last two and a half years. Tracy is a professional individual who has an incredible ability to bring energy into a room full of people. Her knowledge on change management and user adoption is the best in the business. We have worked together on numerous successful projects where Tracy was an irreplaceable key member of the team."
“Tracy has the unique ability to extract thoughts and ideas and transmute them into viable business strategy, all while making sure that users are at the center of her universe. It is with this that she is able to surpass the standard adoption rates that most companies are plagued with. I would want Tracy on every adoption team I have to send into my clients.”
I am available for freelance. Can't wait for the next exciting project! Could be yours?
